Agreed.

While I don't feel that representing your group by Greek Letters is a requirement for posting here (See Farmhouse, Acacia and Ceres), I do feel that this discussion is misplaced.

At least by setup, Greekchat is most effective for dealing with Fraternities and Sororities at Colleges and Univerities in North America. 99.99% of the members here wouldn't recognize even the largest of the Fraternities and Sororities in the Philippines *unless* they had a related organization in the USA (See Alpha Sigma Phi, Alpha Phi Omega, and possibly Delta Upsilon).

As best as I can tell, Scouts Royale Brotherhood does not count as an "Up & Coming National GLOs", due to size. My guess is that SRB has more chapters than at least a quarter members of the North-American Interfraternity Conference, if not more. However, Scouts Royale Brotherhood at this time is only talking about having Alumni Organizations in North America.

I would be fascinated to see a history of Greek Letter Organizations in the Philippines (preferably one that a Skeptron and a Triskelion could agree on (nicknames for Alpha Kappa Rho and Tau Gamma Phi in the Philippines)). However at this time, I don't think a focus on one without collegiate chapters in the USA is appropriate.

Hey mods, you can close this thread.

These alpha phi omega guys who have the principle of Leadership, Friendship and Service doesn't apply their 'Friendship' principle on this forum. Need to learn more of your scouting lectures specifically the 12 jewels and you need to know how to respect other fraternities. If you don't like our organization, better not post any comment on this thread.

That's the reason why you don't have recruits nowadays in most of the colleges in the Philippines. Eventhough you applied the Standard Training Procedure (STP) there's no one applying in your fraternity. You need to learn how to respect!

My name is tnxbutterfly and I am pleased to be the new moderator for the Up and Coming GLO forum. Being in an Up and Coming GLO myself, I'm glad that we have this place were we can lean on each other.

A couple of rules

1) This is a respectful forum. No name-calling, or disrespect will be tolerated.

2) No spamming

3) Questions about membership/intake will not be discussed in this forum. Questions about membership/intake need to be addressed to the particular organization you are interested in.

I look forward to serving as your moderator. Feel free to pm/email me with any questions or concerns you may have.

In Greek Unity,

tnxbutterfly

Your posts haven't been any better. You both need to either chill out or take your contest to PM.

You both participated in your... I'll be nice and call it a debate; neither of you were following tnxbutterfly's posting rules. If you and APhiO must continue your conversation, take it to PM.

Lane swervin'.....

I was SO SURE that Senusret was the main "debater" in this thread until I read the thread. Sorry, Senusret, you're slippin'.

Am I the only one who gets headaches from these new posters from Phillipine fraternities?

LMAO..... not I, said the Senusret.

It's an APO rip-off. I was over it from post one. lol

Or more precisely, for the Americans here..... it's like the Key Club deciding to have college chapters and demanding that Circle K respect them.

That's a great analogy for what I've been experiencing in this thread.

And, DrPhil, I'm with you on the headaches except for me it's eye strain from all day.
