Personally, I say no. Yes that person is breaking the rules, but going out of your way to make her miserable is petty. If you're asked, be honest. And if it's your chapter/GLO by all means say something. But let her get herself busted so she has no one to blame but herself and karma.

The NPHC members here may feel differently, but there you go.

Frankly, as long as she doesn't go around trying to reap the benefits of her NPHC sorority (repping, networking, sisterhood, official activities, etc.) then I say good riddance...

Although I would rather she give back her letters or get expelled but...

Well, it's pretty obvious she is still representing the NPHC sorority. It's on her FB, in her name, her profile picture yet...she's in a picture with a NPC pledge class. I'll just keep my mouth shut. She'll be found out at some point.

NPHC and GPhiD?

This is a long thread and the search is not coming up with anything specific. I apologize if this was already answered.

1. Just for curiosity (I´m a man from a LGLO), I was reading about BGLO´s and found that dual membership is allowed for Iota Phi Lambda Sorority (professional) and NPHC sororities. Is it the same for Gamma Phi Delta sorority and NPHC sororities? I´ve heard both that GPhiD is business and that it is social.

2. Also, is dual membership allowed between two PFA fraternitiess?

Thanks.

With Professional fraternities, you can not join two of the same type, but can join more then one, so long as they are different.

ie, you could join a business and a law fraternity (my dad did), but you couldn't join 2 law fraternities.

I agree. THe entire idea of depledging is just crazy to me. IF youare that unsure, just don't do it....and once you do it, live with it.

Often times it is not about the prospect being unsure.

No this doesnt often happen. Its fairly infrequent. I mean, he's a member of my fraternity now...ionno if i would call him my frat BROTHER tho...i mean, i understand ppl make mistakes sometimes and chose the wrong org for them, but yo, there aint no redo's here...you got to live wit that decision you made.

If it is not against your org's rules, why not?

it is against my org's constitution and by-laws. i mean, i'm sure he's not the only one to have done it, so i cant really get up in arms about the whole pancake bizness, but if i knew that he was a pancake, i wouldnt really bang with him like that...i'm not gonna be disrespectful towards him, unlike how i'm sure some other pplz would be(from both orgs)...

Okay, that wasn't clear (at least to me) in your post.

Agrees with Still Blutang!

I rep TBS and AKA! Most of the ladies of my chapter of Tau Beta Sigma are also members of a NPHC and/or a service/professional org.
