You stumped me I looked in everything I have about TKE and I can not find the answers. I can't wait to here what they are. Keep the trivia coming.
I will guess on a few though.
what was Richard Henry Little, Phi Delt advocate, driving
when he was killed, thereby ending TKE push to join
Phi Delta Theta? model t ford
what was Leland F Leland's birth surname? Hint:
his nickname was "Pete." PETER

trivia answers, continued
James Clifford Logan was a member of a local fraternity at
Baker U, Zeta Chi. He transferred to Washington U at St. Louis
where he entered law school and joined Xi chapter of TKE
Ralph Chester Williams became a member of TKE through the
absorption of Alpha Lambda Tau, a southern fraternity, and he
led TKE through the war years. He was an M.D. in Atlanta, and
was one of TKE's expansion leaders.
The Eta alphabet was skipped as it was deemed offensive by
a large number of people. Other fraternities have used it, but
who wants to be a member of Eta Beta chapter?
R. H. Little was killed whilst returning home from a date, driving
a Pierce Arrow "Great Arrow" sedan.
The late and charming Bill Quallich, PGP, who recently entered
the Chapter Eternal, coined the term "Grand Dollar" when he served that office in the 1960s...

there are several sororities which have Eta ___ chapters. I think
this is dumb, but whatever....duh The biggest loser president
Bill Clinton was not a greek. Harry Truman was an honorary
Lambda Chi. JFK I think was an honorary one of Phi Kappa Theta. The Bushes are both Dekes, but hardly inspiring ones.
Dutch Reagan, the most charming pres ever, was every bit as
genial in person and ask any TKE who met him, and that would
be THOUSANDS. He really loved the Fraternity, and he was one quick to show it...The Greatest Greek ever, even moreso than frater Jesus.....
The Sig Eps have removed any overt objections to pledging and
intitiating homosexuals (rump rangers). We TKEs can pledge anyone we want, we do not need legislation. I'm proud to have
been on the road for TKE in the 50s when I did not have to ask
one's religion, or whatever, during rush...and the Sigs, SAEs,
Lambda Chis, Pikes, etc. all had to grovel and guess if the guy
was Jewish, or whatever....Our Beta friends and a few others were as up front as the Tekes, and I salute them. Nowadays the
playing field is leveled. Founder Mayer, in all his honesty, said that TKE did not think of inserting a discrimination clause, and
may have but by that time Asayo Fukuda was already in Alpha andGamma had a Jewish member...So there, we were not the greatest, but honest and great nevertheless! YITB, Erik of CO

To the TEKEs who monitor this thread, Erik was the indivdual who was the most instrumental in me contacting LXA.
You deffinately do not want to get into a Trivia Peeing contest with him when it comes to TEKE Lore and History
He may be getting old and slow like some of those I refain from naming but he aint gotten to stupid yet!
E it is GREAT to have heard from YOU!
Will see ya on the rest of the threads!

Phi Sig was the first Sorority not to have a scripture based ritual- and was the first sorority to allow woman of all religions.
That's why Phi Sig was founded- because they were all friends who couldn't join one sorority because they were all different religions.

I think its time for T Rod to quiz the "master" Erik Conard. I bet it would be some pretty interesting trivia. Maybe if your lucky you can teach one of the best something.

me quiz EriK?........
that would be tantamount to Moses giving God a quiz on the Ten Commandments!
No, I defer to Frater Erik's wisdom, and dare not question his memory.
