What you just explained is fantastic!
I think if you told the women what you just said to us (about your involvement on campus, your accomplishments, the fact you'll be there 3 years, and that you want to be an active alum in your future group), they'd be crazy to cut you just because you were a junior.
However, I'm sure someone can speak to U of Tennessee's rush specifically....
